About the event
The Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) is pleased to announce that we are preparing for our annual Veterans and service members STAND DOWN which will be held on Friday September 23, 2022 from 8:00am – 2:00pm at four regional locations in Danbury, Bridgeport, Norwich, and at our main campus in Rocky Hill. The DVA continues our commitment to serving Connecticut’s Veterans by providing this “one stop” access to a range of programs and services offered by state and federal agencies, Veterans organizations, and community-based non-profits at regional sites across the State. We hope this approach to Stand Down will help more Veterans and service members throughout Connecticut connect with the programs and benefits they have earned.
In the coming months the DVA will update this website to include registration information, transportation schedules, a list of available services at each location and FAQ’s.
We look forward to seeing you at Stand Down again this year.
